June 28th What do we want out of our students?

What I want out from my students over a school year could be summarized in three points:
  • to have the curiosity to think about the reason WHY fenomenons that surround us in our daily lives happen, and how they can predict them,
  • to see the connection that Physics and Chemistry have with the problems of the real world, not only causing them but also as a way to solve them, and
  • to be able to learn from their environment by using their capabilities with autonomy and in a critical way
Hard, but not impossible.

  1. Conchi- it's all about the expectation that we hold for each and everyone of our students! I agree- it's hard but not impossible; yet, if this is what you expect, then your students will try so hard to meet you there.
